Kelsey Tucker (LEFTY LOU) ORIGINAL CAST – AUSTRIA 2005 Kelsey received her BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University. Prior to touring with "This Land is Your Land" she acted at the state theatre of North Carolina, Flat Rock Playhouse, at Michigan's Thunder Bay Theatre, and at Cape Fear Regional Theatre in N.C. Favorite roles incldue "Joe March" in the musical "Little Women", "Tammy Wynette" in "Stand by Your Man: the Tammy Wynette Story" and "Shelby" in "Steel Magnolias". She is currently pursuing her Juris Doctorate and looks forward to having two full time careers.

 
 
 

Darcie Deaville (LEFTY LOU) AUSTRIA 2006 • TULSA 2012 Darcie is equally at home playing the guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin or violin. She's also an accomplished actor, writer, producer and musical director. In August 2001, Darcie's one woman musical, "Tornado In Slo Mo", debuted at the Hyde Park Theatre in Austin, Texas, which she now calls home. Darcie has recorded and released four CDs: Darcie Deaville Plays the Fiddle and Sings (Taller Dog), Tornado In Slo Mo (Redwing Music), Ways To Fly Gillman Deaville (Flying Fish Records) and Last Hitchhiker on the Lost Highway (independent). Brian Gunter (PETE) AUSTRIA 2006 • KRAVIS CENTER 2008 • TULSA 2012 Brian has had a long and happy association with the art of Woody Guthrie, having performed in over a dozen regional productions of "Woody Guthrie's American Song" including productions at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Northlight Theatre in Chicago, The Delaware Theatre Company, and Berkeley Rep, for which he received a Bay Area Critic's Circle Award. Other favorite credits include "The Caine Mutiny Court Martial " and "Anna Christie" at San Jose Rep, "Hank Williams: Lost Highway" and "Off the Map" at the Depot Theatre, "Smoke on the Mountain" at Northlight and "Fire on the Mountain" at Florida Studio Theatre. He has a BA in Theatre from Wichita State University and an MA in Theatre from Northwestern University.

 
 
 

Mimi Bessette (LEFTY LOU) NEW YORK 2006, 2007 • KRAVIS CENTER 2008 Mimi not only has made a name for herself on the Broadway and Off-Broadway stage and regionally as a musical theater actress, she also is an accomplished recording artist. She produced and is the singer on her album Lullabies of Broadway, sang the title song in the film Twilight's Last Gleaming and has been featured on a number of cast albums - including Woody Guthrie's American Song. Andy Teirstein (PETE) NEW YORK 2006 In addition to performing, Andy writes music for the concert hall, film, theatre, and dance. His film scores include "Men", for BBC and "Margaret Sanger" for PBS. Two of his musicals, "Winter Man" and "Skels" recieved an NEA Opera/Musical Theatre Award. He received an MFA as a member of the first class of the NYU Musical Theatre Program, where he studied with Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim & Arthur Laurents. Andy has continued his musical education in the pubs of Ireland, studying with Hopi and Cheyenne Indians in the U.S. and performing as a clown with a Mexican circus. Lizzie Hagstedt (NORA) TULSA 2012 Lizzie Hagstedt most recently appeared Off-Off Broadway in the acclaimed new musical "Southern Comfort." Other credits include the national tour of "Sweeney Todd." She holds a BM in Musical Theatre from the University of Miami, and is a composer in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
